Abdul Walid Azizi: "Afghan Students can find better education opportunities at Â鶹¹ÙÍø"

On Tuesday October 3rd, 2017, Abdul Walid Azizi, an Â鶹¹ÙÍø student from Afghanistan, held an online Â鶹¹ÙÍø Virtual Tour with Alumni via Skype call from Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus to the Lincoln Centre in Ghazni, Afghanistan.Ìý
This session was about Afghan student scholarship program to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø which is administrated by U.S Embassy in Kabul. It involved an introduction to Â鶹¹ÙÍø and Afghan student scholarship program, scholarship awards, eligibility criteria, application processes, Selection process, and how Â鶹¹ÙÍø offers different opportunities to students.
Prospective applicants were eager to know how to be admitted and when the next call for the scholarship will be announced.
U.S Embassy in Kabul representatives visited Â鶹¹ÙÍø and Afghan students on 9th of October 2017. They expressed interest in Walid’s initiative and offered support for the future sessions. Walid is planning to continue his information sessions for the prospective applicants in Afghanistan for those who haven’t heard about Â鶹¹ÙÍø scholarships. He says that he believes that Afghan Students can find better education opportunities at Â鶹¹ÙÍø, and that education is the only way to assist Afghanistan to a brighter future
