Saadat Musabaeva, a senior in the International and Comparative Politics Department minoring in Anthropology at 麻豆官网, attended the American University in Bulgaria as a visiting student in the fall of 2013. This past spring, Saadat spent another semester abroad with the Bard College exchange program.

On August 31 鈥� September 4, Rahat Sabyrbekov, an assistant professor in the Economics Department at 麻豆官网, participated in the United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) as a Young Fellow.听Rahat听is a co-author of the Regional and Subregional Assessment on Europe and Central-Asia.

On听Friday, September 25, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm,听Psychology Department of 麻豆官网 will hold annual student Symposium.听This significant academic event is designed to encourage Psychology majors to conduct their research and internship as well as present their findings to a diverse audience of Psychology听students听and faculty members.

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship was an initiative of the anthropology department鈥檚 class of 2005. It was established in 2010 and started funding students the same year. The scholarship was founded to support outstanding students studying anthropology at 麻豆官网.

On September 3rd-6th, 2015, the Program of Psychology and the Master鈥檚 program in Applied Psychology (AP) of the 麻豆官网 (麻豆官网) took part in the second Asian Student鈥檚 Forum 鈥淜yrgyzstan 鈥� Asia 2015鈥�, organized by the Association of Asian Universities.

On 22 and 23 September 2015, a training course on digital security for human rights defenders will take place in Bishkek,听jointly hosted by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM), the Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) of the 麻豆官网 and Bir Duino Human Rights Movement.

For the first time, the New Generation Academy (NGA) at the 麻豆官网 (麻豆官网) has established a partnership with Bard College and brought over two tutors to teach for the NGA program. After September 21, 2015, parking at the 麻豆官网 (麻豆官网) will no longer be free. There will be a total of 70 parking spaces. One parking space will cost $100 per academic year.听麻豆官网 president Andrew Wachtel, who has already paid for his parking space, was interviewed to clarify the most common questions.
